Stories From Black Dog Ranch - Mia and the Gang

Hi everyone, it's me Mia.

Boy has it been a crazy place around here lately.  Ebby and Ellie (those stinky cats!) came back last week and they brought a boy cat with them, Echo.
Ms. Charlene says Echo needed a home so she let him come back with Ebby and her daughter after they went away for a week to get spayed. She said he seems to fit in here at the ranch since he's also  black!
Ms. Charlene says it's funny how the good Lord works things out right at the exact time when we need some sort of miracle to happen.

She says we should all be grateful for those "Tender Mercies"....  Although we don't really know exactly what all that stuff means, we sure are glad that Ms. Charlene loves us and cares enough to open her heart to others that need love too!

Molly says she is happy just to live here at the Black Dog Ranch and have someone like Ms. Charlene love her soooo much!

Ms. Charlene has been very busy, lots to do around the ranch this time of year, but she is thankful that she has had a little time to make new friends and spend time with them doing some of her favorite things, horse stuff! (yuk).
Well I better go for now, don't forget to stop by our website and pick up a copy of our book, Stories from Black Dog Ranch. Remember, all proceeds go to support our Rescue Ranch!  http://www.blackdogrescueranch.org/

Stories From Black Dog Ranch

Hi everyone.  It's me Mia,

Boy things are hot around here at Black Dog Rescue Ranch.  We have been shedding our winter hair and Ms. Charlene said it looked like enough hair on the front porch to make up another whole dog!! Ms. Charlene is funny.
She told us this week that she is getting ready to make a major change in her life that will effect all of us.  We can't wait to see what that is going to be, but whatever Ms. Charlene decides we know that we will always be taken care of and loved!

Everyone around here is getting extra treats to make up for the time that Ms. Charlene has been away from the ranch working on her new adventures and boy are we sure happy when she gets home!

Well don't forget to order a copy of our book! You can stop by our website; www.blackdogrescueranch.org and pick up a copy today. Remember, all proceeds go to support our rescue ranch and help us help other dogs and horses that deserve a second chance!

Stories From Black Dog Ranch

Hi everybody, it's me Mia.

Sorry I haven't been here in two weeks, we have been very busy here at the ranch. Two really nice ladies photographers from
MM Photography in St. Louis came down and took a bunch of pictures of us last week and we really enjoyed their company. We got lots of belly rubs and treats too! They are going to do a cover story on us and our ranch in the "Central States Horseman Magazine" next month!  Ms. Charlene says that is a big honor so we all need be thankful and grateful to MM Photography for the opportunity.
Be sure and pick up a copy of next month's issue of the magazine too!

Here are a few of the pictures they took last week. Ms. Charlene said they are very good at capturing all the animal's charater.  Us dogs are not real sure what all that means, but if it makes Ms. Charlene happy Teddie and Willa said that should make us happy.  I guess it really all comes down to the simple fact that spending your time here on earth with the people that you love and the ones that make you happy is really the only thing that matters in life!

Dr. Kim, a good friend of ours says she loves it when Ms. Charlene post pictures of us smiling cause you can tell that we have found the true meaning of happiness; LOVE. It is ALL that matters in life, not what others think of us.

Yes, it is all about spending time with the ones you love! So remember that this week and if you have the opportunity, give someone a BIG SMILE.
Well I better go for now. Don't forget to stop by our website and pick up a book! "Stories from Black Dog Ranch". http://www.blackdogrescueranch.org/
