Stories From Black Dog Ranch - Mia and the Gang

Hi everyone. It's me Mia.

Well another week has gone by here at the Black Dog Ranch and we have been busy doing ranch stuff.

Ms. Charlene got the truck stuck in the mud trying to get a big bale of hay out to the horses and she was pretty up-set about it.

She had to call her Father to come pull her out with the big farm tractor.  We couldn't understand why Ms. Chalene was so upset about all that Mud I mean us dogs love Mud. We could have had a great time rolling in it if Ms. Charlene would have opened the gate, but she said no way. After they got the truck pulled out they got the hay unloaded and put in the pasture so the horses have something to eat for the next week.
Those silly horses, they sure are a lot of trouble for Ms. Charlene.  Teddie said if the horses make Ms. Charlene happy then we shouldn't worry about them and I guess Teddie is right.  He always knows what is best around here and I guess that's why he our leader here at the Black Dog Ranch.  Funny though, he is the only one that isn't a "Black" Dog. He doesn't seem to mind that either!
Well I better go for now. Don't forget to stop by our website; http://www.blackdogrescueranch.com/ and order one of our books, "Stories from Black Dog Ranch".  We would love to share our stories with you!

Stories From Black Dog Ranch - Mia and the Gang

Hi everyone.  It's me Mia.
Sorry I am a little late up-dating my blog, but Ms. Charlene has been busy helping out her sister Karen who just got home from having a "foot" operation.
I told Teddie and Molly we sure are lucky that none of our feet need to be fixed cause I sure wouldn't want it to effect all the digging I've been doing. (see the dirt on my nose?)
Ms. Charlene has been talking to some nice people in other towns about going there with my book so we are hoping that she will get some book signings set up and she can let other people know about us and our awesome book, Stories from Black Dog Ranch.  Remember to pick up a copy if you don't already have one.  Not only does the sale of our book help out here at the ranch, but we donate part of the proceeds from our book to other animal shelters and reading programs out there too!

Ms. Charlene says we all need to watch over each other and help each other out just like Willa and Betty are doing here. You know if everyone does their part this world will be a better place for everyone!
Well I guess I better go for now.
Talk more soon,
Mia

Black Dog Rescue Ranch - Mia and the Gang

Hi everyone. It's me Mia.
We have been playing in the snow and eating some of it too! A little Sunshine makes it a great winter day to roll around in the snow and enjoy being a dog!!!
Ms. Charlene says we are silly, but she loves watching us having fun because she loves us soooo much.
Well we hope everyone is off to a great new year out there. It has been cold and snowy here at the ranch, but as you can see, we are making the best of the situation.
Ms. Charlene is looking forward to going on more school visits now that the holidays are behind us, so we hope there are some schools out there that want to hear about my book and all of us here at the ranch. Don't forget to order a copy of our book and check out our website; www.blackdogrescueranch.com
I better go for now. Talk more soon,
Mia

Black Dog Rescue Ranch - Mia and the Gang

Hi everyone. It's me Mia. I am laying on my favorite blanket on top of my favorite bench on our front porch watching over the ranch today. Things are getting back to our regular routine now that the holidays are behind us and all the family visiting for the holidays have gone home. Me and my brothers and sisters don't mind the visitors though, we love company and love all the attention we get when they come to visit. Of course Teddie and Mickey are always trying to hog all the attention from everyone so I was fussing at them in this picture. They don't seem to listen to me or anyone for that matter, but Ms. Charlene said its ok because there is usually enough attention to go around for everyone. Maggie and Charlie are just glad to be inside and snuggled up together on Ms. Charlene's bed and they will leave the fussing over who get attention to us silly dogs outside! Well we hope everyone out there is off to a great start to another new year. Don't forget to stop by our website; http://www.blackdogrescueranch.com/ and get your copy of my book if you haven't had a chance to do that yet. Remember we donate part of the proceeds from every book sale to help other animals like me that need a loving home and a second chance. I better go for now. Talk more soon, Mia
